Sweet Skin Lash Lift and Tint treatments has two parts: the “lift” and the “tint.” 

The lift portion of the treatment involves curling the lashes and applying a chemical perming product to them to hold their new shape. We can also use different-sized curling pads to give you a more loose or tighter curl depending on your preferences.

The tinting portion of the procedure involves applying a hair dye to the lashes, which is darker than your natural color. This darkening step helps the lashes pop against your skin tone and draws more attention to your perfectly curled lashes. 

Other steps we perform include an initial cleaning of the eye area and finishing the treatment with a nourishing lotion. This final step will help keep your lashes strong and healthy. 

To ensure you get the best results possible, make sure you follow the proper pre-appointment protocols given to you following your lash consultation. It involves arriving at your appointment with zero makeup or skincare products on. We also suggest staying out of the sun, so you don’t have any burns or irritation before your treatment.

In addition, we require that you discuss a preferred look with us beforehand. Then, whether it’s a natural enhancement or something big and bold, we can customize your Lift and Tint to suit your style. 

Since this treatment is considered semi-permanent, you will need to maintain the look over time. However— you will save plenty of time getting ready each day since you won’t need to apply makeup to your lashes. A bonus is that if you don’t love the level of curl or the color, it will be easy to change your look in the future.

You can expect this treatment to last for up to 8 weeks, depending on the level of care you take to maintain it. It includes avoiding harsh chemicals, scrubbing the eye areas, and refraining from applying mascara. We also suggest not touching your lashes as much as possible. 

It’s crucial to allow the curl and the dye to set for the first 24 hours. So for the best results, follow these aftercare guidelines within the first 24 hours of your treatment: 

• Do not apply makeup to the lashes or lash area following your treatment.

• Avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms, or other activities that will get your lashes wet for the first day following treatment. 

• Avoid sunbathing and tanning for the first day or two post-treatment.

If you wear glasses or contacts, you are free to use them immediately after your treatment. However, please avoid wetting your new lashes with any contact solution. Glasses are therefore a better option during this critical time. 

Once you’ve made it through those critical first days after your treatment, you must stay vigilant and take proper care of your lashes to enjoy your beautiful Sweet Skin Lift and Tint for weeks to come. 

Please only use water-based mascara as water-proof mascaras require oil-based makeup removers that can damage your curl. 

Please note that you’ll also want to avoid excessive washing and scrubbing the eye area. In general, be gentle with your lashes!

This lash procedure may sound similar to lash extensions, but it doesn’t involve any extra lash fibers or lengthening. Instead, a Sweet Skin Lash Lift and Tint give your natural lashes a perm and a color using a chemical solution and natural-looking hair dye. This semi-permanent technique will enhance your natural lashes without causing any damage.

Alternatively, lash extensions use false lashes to boost volume and add length to your natural lashes. These are typically glued on directly to your real hairs and can be as bold or as natural as you prefer. 

This service is generally chosen by those who want a more dramatic look, but it does come with risks, such as making your natural follicles more brittle over time.
